Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Morocco):

Insect repellent. Also great for skin conditioning.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Bulgaria):

Very beneficial for assisting with allergies, burns, insomnia, car ride anxiety and car sickness.

Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Kenya):

Works gently on the immune system. Also, a great oil to use for stress and anxiety.

Niaouli (Melaleuca quinquenervia) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Madagascar):

Works against infections caused by allergies and a powerful antibacterial agent.

Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - France):

Helps calm anxiety, teething and muscle pains.

Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Madagascar):

Great for fungal infections and calming irritated skin.

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Nepal):

Sedating. Eases nervousness and promotes rest. Deeply relaxing to body and mind.

Fragonia™ (Agonis Fragrans) Essential Oil (Country of Origin - Australia): A strong antimicrobial, anti fungal, and anti inflammatory, this oil is trademarked and is not certified organic, although it is grown in organic conditions. The Paperbark Co. who is the owner of the trademark and grower of Fragonia™ uses sustainable farming practices, with minimal and careful use of herbicides and fertilisers that are mostly approved for organic certification. It releases tension and is analgesic to muscle and joint aches and pains and is safe to use neat and on animals and children.

Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Madagascar/Haiti):

Vetiver or Vetivert is deeply relaxing to body and mind. Useful for mature complexions. Called 'the oil of tranquillity' in Indonesia due to it's balancing and grounding properties. Also known as Rhu Khus.

Rhododendron (Rhododendron anthopogon) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Nepal):

Cooling and antibacterial. Calming and grounding - traditionally used in meditation. Supportive for chest and lungs, and aids sleep.

Red Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) Essential Oil* (Country of Origin - Italy):

Supports the digestion and appetite. Useful in skin care and often used in a blend for helping prevent stretch marks. An excellent oil for use with children. Gentle, soothing, uplifting and relaxing.

Olive (Olea Europaea Fruit) Oil* (Country of Origin - Tunisia): Cold Pressed, Unrefined. 

Offers skin nourishing, softening & protective qualities and helps to regulate sebum.

Rice Bran (Oryza Sativa) Wax (Country of Origin - China):

Rice Bran Wax naturally contains Phospholipids which act as binding agents, Phytosterols (healthy plant sterols) and Squalane which is moisturising and has antioxidant properties.

Please note: Our Oryza Sativa wax is an ethically sourced product from China. We are currently working on finding a certified organic product to replace this ingredient.

Hemp Seed (Cannabis sativa) Oil* (Country of Origin - Baltic States): Cold Pressed, Unrefined.

Hemp is a nutritious oil rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential fatty acids including Omegas 3,6 & 9 and GLA. It has the benefits of being non-greasy, so is suitable for all skin types, especially oilier ones. It can be used to balance combination skin, though it would need to be blended with other gentler oils for use with very dry or sensitive skins. As it is also anti-inflammatory.

White Poppy (Papaver Somniferum) Seed Oil* (Country of Origin - Turkey): Cold Pressed, Unrefined.

This oil is a versatile and very effective natural emollient that improves skin softness whilst also improving firmness and elasticity. It sinks into the skin quickly leaving it feeling smoother, softer and more supple. When blended with other oils, it improves the skin penetration of those oils. It is very effective in reducing Trans Epidermal Water Loss, thus giving excellent skin hydration levels.

Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) Seed Oil* (Country of Origin - Peru): Cold Pressed, Unrefined.

A temporary occlusive moisturiser which slows down transepidermal water loss from dermis, reducing moisture loss for about 12 hours of the day without sealing the skin completely and allowing skin to continue its normal elimination functions.

Camellia (Camellia Japonica) Seed Oil* (Country of Origin - Japan): Cold Pressed, Unrefined.

This oil is also known as Tsubaki Oil and referred to as the Geisha’s Secret. Used for centuries by the Geisha of Japan for skin and hair conditioning, it is also traditionally used for massage as well because it is rapidly absorbed whilst deeply nourishing the skin. 

Activated Bamboo Charcoal* (Country of Origin - Malaysia):

Used as a purifier and decontaminant as well as for medicinal treatments like counteracting ingested poisons. No chemical processing is involved in this natural product.

Sodium Hydroxide (Lye or “Caustic Soda”) (Country of Origin - United Kingdom):

Sodium hydroxide is completely used up in the saponification process to turn oil into soap. The chemical reaction of making cold process soap, called saponification, is complete, which means that the lye and oil molecules have combined and chemically changed into soap and glycerine.
